Every client will receive orientation to the Motorbike. The client orientation will cover all aspects of safe driving in Krabi, the clients’ maintenance responsibilities, local rules and laws.
All bikes use fuel type 95 or 91, both fuel types are suitable for all bikes but if its possible to use 95, it's slightly better for this fuel type for our bikes. Fuel costs are client’s responsibility. Krabi Moto Rentals claims no responsibility for motorcycle fuel consumption and mileage. All bikes are delivered with a full tank of gas and must be returned the same. If additional gas is needed to top up the tank it will be charged at a rate of 50thb/liter
Standard helmets (half and 3/4 quarter) are provided with all motorbike rentals for both the rider and passenger. If additional helmets are required please inform our staff prior to arrival, we also stock children helmets and full face helmets if needed.
During the rental period up to 2 drivers are allowed on each bike, the person whose name is in the rental contract as well as one additional name.
For rentals longer than 1 week, the renter has the responsibility to check the engine oil levels and reporting mechanical failures immediately to the rental agent. Instructions and procedures for maintenance expense reimbursement are provided at pick-up. Customers may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence in motorcycle operation or failure to provide normal maintenance. In the event of a flat tire, it is the clients responsibility to have the inner tube replaced at a nearby repair shop (there are numerous all throughout Krabi).
A security deposit of 2000THB - 4000THB will be taken at pick-up We also accept USD, EURO and GBP as a valid deposit, the equivalent amount can be calculated at pick drop off. The larger bikes and motorcycles have a larger deposit required.
The renter agrees to the the bike as it was given to him or her after visual inspection. If there is additional damages, broken or lost parts to the bike(s) then the costs will be assed at a local motorbike shop to determine the value of the repairs. If the motorbike is lost or stolen while in the custody of the renter, then the value of the scooter must be renumerated back to Krabi Moto Rentals. The value of the bikes can be found online (-15%/year price depreciation).
A rental day is 24 hours. If you pick up the bike at 10:00 am it is due back by 10:00 am on the agreed upon day. We do not offer hourly or partial day rates.
All confirmed rental reservations are non-refundable, No refunds on early returns.

All of the motorbikes at Krabi Moto Rentals have third party insurance, suitable for the riders and damages to other drivers by the renters themselves. The bikes are not covered for damages under this insurance policy. Certain models of motorbikes are covered though. So to be sure if your model comes with insurance covering the bike for damages please consult your rental agent.
Basic Liability Insurance
This is standard coverage which is compulsory for any motorbike rental. This provides the up to a maximum per rider medical coverage at any public medical facility up to 80,000 THB for medical expenses and treatment. There is an additional life insurance policy for every rider, this covers any riders family or significant others with a settlement of 300,000 THB in the event of a death of a rider.
Krabi Moto Rentals ask for a refundable damage deposit to be paid at the time of taking a bike from our fleet. We also ask for the equivalent about in USD, GBP, Euro, MYR or RMB. The deposit amount for each bike can be seen below.

If there is damage or the bikes are lost or stolen while in the renters care, the deposit will be retained and returned only when said damages or wrongdoings have been restored to the condition when the bike was given for rent.
